The White Lace show (2001) presented a struggle between masculinity and femininity, life and death. Slides and a video played onto a screen at one side end of a glass cabinet. A large projection of the Gimp Angel was projected onto the back wall. An alter below this had the shape of an absent figure traced in flowers. For the duration of the two hour show the Gimp Angel was in an illuminated lift, visible through the gallery's sky light. The lift would travel up and down as people call it. This show represented the death of the part that the Lace Gimp represented.
